Been a long time
On Friday I went to a place I hadn't been in a long time. It had a lot to do with why I had this journal. They say the more thing changed...nothing there really stayed the same. I hadn't intended to be there anyway, and I didn't expect much, but I really was taken aback. It was kind of like being at a funeral. I knew what I was looking at, but I really wanted it to be very, very different. There were way too many "used to be's" being said.
Things are very, very different. I've thought about closing this down. It's been a while, I don't really write on it or communicate with it any longer, but there's still times that I want to look back at a date, so I keep it open. To be promptly embarrassed at how (add your own adjective) I was at that time.
