I got back today from a few days away back home in Liverpool. I had to go back to jin our family and friends for the opening of the nightclub my dad's been working on with a neighbour over the past several months. Now the biggest club in Liverpool.

The opening day was on thursday, despite having no involvement with the project due to being in Hull, I was bricking it. I have been fearing something would go wrong on the big night. A couple of things did (Liverpool player Stephen Gerard not being there due to injury and our speciailist cocktail makers being sick). the club was heaving with over 2,000 people present with 80 staff for the bars and restaurant and over 1,500 people outside who couldn't make it into the club. I stayed for a couple of hours with a few friends (Patrick, Draco and Sora) then crashed at Draco's new place. Woke up the enxt day to find the club on the front page, I was stunned, it takes a while to sink in.
The friday was simple enough, went back home to see my 2nd mother (my old boss) she greeted me with the usual hugs and kisses and we drank with friends before heading back for a swim. Then spent the weekend in York and chilling out, now I can return to my normal existence and job hunting, I hate my work more than ever so I'm off to the uni to try barwork there.
