PSP 7 (translatable) colouring

Go from
to



1. Take your image and crop to 100x100.




2. Right click on layer 1 on the layer palatte and duplicate. Then click on Normal and set the layer to screen.




3. Right click on layer 1 on the layer palatte and duplicate. Drag it to the top. Then click on Normal and set the layer to soft light.




4. Create a new raster layer (Layers > Create New Raster Layer) then use the fill tool to fill it with #585AAC. Then set it from normal to soft light.




5. Create a new raster layer then fill it with #275F5E. Then set it from normal to screen.




6. Click on that layer (the top one) and duplicate it. Set it from screen to color. Bring the opacity down to 30.




7. Right click on layer 1 on the layer palatte and duplicate. Then drag it up to the top and set it from normal to burn. Bring the opacity down to 50.




8. Now merge all (Layers > Merge > Merge All) and repeat step 2.




9. Now add some text (I use this brush in #DDEEEE) and there you go!




(Note: On this finished project, I also sgarped the cigerette and the smoke once too)
