The Holidays
I love this season! It's the one time when i feel like God has really blessed me in all i've done over the last year. I'm thankful for my daughter and my granddaughter, Fallon and Mackenzie. I have been blessed with getting my car back and running. After all the time everyone has spent on it to see what was wrong, it turned out to be just my battery! Geesh!! I was happy but not. Know what i mean? I was glad i didnt have to put alot of money in it to fix it, but was not happy that is all it was that took my car away from me for a whole year and a half. Stupid. The couple of times i asked my sister to charge up the battery to get me to the car parts store they said my battery was good and that wasnt the problem. I think i'll change car parts stores. :P
So, now that i have a new found freedom, i can look forward to holiday shoppings. :) I love to decorate the house up for the holidays. The magic of Thanksgiving and especially Christmas is what i look forward to all year. I know, we should have this attitude all year long, but life has a way of mangling these feelings alot. To everything from the way people talk to each other to how they act with one another. I'm glad i have a great God who i can hide me from these things or i'd be a basket case.
