well.. the last couple of days has been quite Eventful.
Wed afternoon my birthmom calls and tells me my great grandmother has
up to 72 hours left to live. I start thinking on how to get home for
the funeral if i can and what not. Why? Cus hospice had been called in
and they had her on high doses of morphine for the pain. SHe didn't
open any of her christmas presents this year . So I call my adoptive
mom to discuss the idea of me coming home. I get bitched at and told
it's not worth it cus I only met my great grandmother a few times. I'm
like SHE"S MY GREAT GRANDMOTHER AND FAMILY!!! IF I WANT TO COME HOME
DAMNIT I"LL TRY!.
Yesterday mom calls .. My great grandmother passed away yesterday
afternoon and in all likely hood I'm not gonna be able to make it for
the funeral. They're thinking Tuesday for it. Ok.. fine I'll deal.
Kevin brought home subway as no one felt like cooking.. which was fine.
He had spent the day at MAPPS in Des Moines taking the asvab and the
physical for the army. He got in. It's offical, base hopping for at
least the next four years of my life.. wee doggie..~sarcastic look~I've
decided to look into the possiblity of getting into JAG as a civilian
paralegal. Can't hurt to try and would do wonders to open doors for me.
Today.. is more of yesterday children wise. Only worse.. Oh well.. they
just lose toys and don't get to have fun tonight celebrating New Years
like us adults. I've gotta get yarn to sew up that darn playpen now.
Hopefully I can sew it well enough so that we can use it for Abby.
~glares at the children~. Oh well.. it's part of life with children. I
should be used to it by now? Heh..>.>... So hope y'all had a
Merry Christmas and that the new year brings in good tidings ^_^ And
hope your New Year's Eve is better than mine is shaping up to be.HAPPY
