Join our team for the Milwaukee Race for the Cure: Sunday, September 28, 2008
As in past years, I am putting together a Planned Parenthood team for the Race for the Cure in Milwaukee, which supports the Milwaukee Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This is totally open to everyone, not just PP staff.
The online registration deadline is this Friday and in order to keep our team status, we need 10 team members!
As you may know, the Susan G. Komen for the Cure raises money to fight breast cancer. The best part is that 75% of funds raised stay in the local community for education, screening, research and treatment.
Please consider supporting this important cause--team members can sign up to run, walk or sleep in for the cure. There are 1 mile walk and 5K (3.3 miles) walk or run options.
