Holy Crap
So I went to Borders today, motorcycle jacket + cane and a whole crap load of pain, in an attempt to find the written report of the Birka dig. Baring that, the digs in York or the Sutton Hoo treasure, books you'd think would be in the archeology section right? No, any of the texts I was searching for would have to be ordered and none of them had a starting price tag below $50. Grumble. So in desperation I went to the language's section hoping to find my Icelandic primer and some material to help me dust off my Latin. The one Icelandic primer in the store had gone missing so that was a complete wash, but I did find my Latin primer so I guess it wasn't a total loss. Sigh, try again next week I guess.
