(no subject)
Why does it feel like a long time since I've posted here when it's only been 5 days? ... I really need to spend less time on the computer. o.O
But anyway, I've been really busy. I worked 4 days in a row this week which resulted in me standing so much that I got heel pain and could hardly walk. But that's to be expected; it's happened before.
I'm working 6 days in a row next week so judging by this week, I should be dead by the end of that.
Anyway, random things that I've been wanting to blog about lately:
. My dad and I now call Phantasmagoria 'Pantsmagoria'. ...Because we were watching Phantasmagoria videos on Youtube yesterday (I can't remember why. o.O We just ended up watching Pixy False for some reason...) and someone misspelled Phantasmagoria as Phantsmagoria and then we both were like "OMG, it's one letter away from being 'Pantsmagoria'!" And so now that has stuck.. XD;; It's just a shame they've now disbanded as I have less chance of using the name. =/
OH! And I had to show my dad the screaming in Pixy False because it is HILARIOUS and when he heard it, he said it sounded like Riku was having a tantrum. XD And then I laughed my ass off imagining Riku on the floor crying and screaming because no one would give him a lollipop. Hahahaha. If you haven't heard Pixy False, do it now. It's here. The screaming is around 4:20. And hilarious XDD
. I really want a camera phone. I've wanted one for about a year but still haven't gotten around to getting one. Mainly because I'm cheap and don't want to spend a lot of money on something that isn't related to Gazette, but also because there haven't been any good ones around for a decent price. But the one I want is now $250 EDIT: I changed my mind about the phone I want and the new one costs $300, so I'll probably buy it. I'm getting payed more now anyway because of Christmas hours.
. I really want Kagrra,'s new album. I'm practically addicted to the sample of 彩の讃歌 (Hymn of Colour) they have on their official site. I swear I've listened to it around 30 times. >_>;; CLICK! The album seems really promising from that excerpt so I really am tempted to buy it. And the song titles are beautiful, as always. The one that really caught my attention was 忘却の果ての凍えた孤独 which translates to "The Frozen Isolation and the End of Oblivion". That is such a gorgeous title for a song. I can't wait to hear what it sounds like...
. I haven't preordered Guren yet... But that's because I'm waiting for the shop privilege information to be released as I want to get privileges with my order.
. I just listened to SID's 涙の温度. It's quite pretty. The chorus is gorgeous. ^__^ Thank you Aki, you choose nice chords. =) Although... it feels a little messy as a song to me... I don't know, it's probably me being picky, but the transition to the middle eight, especially, seems a little... harsh. Like it gets all big with the orchestra, which is good, but then when it feels like it will build more, it suddenly jumps to something else which I felt was a bit awkward. But overall, the song is really nice. I can see the chorus getting stuck in my head over the next few days. =)
. We got a new Christmas tree! It's fibreoptic and looks like this when lit:
... We're still debating whether to put decorations on it or not. XD;; And the fibreoptic lights actually change colour. It's pretty trippy. Haha.
. On that note, it really doesn't feel like Christmas to me. My boss told Christmas is in 2 weeks, but I was just like "Huh..? Really?". I didn't realise it was so close, yet I'm not excited about it at all. =/ Maybe because I work in retail and my store started Christmas in OCTOBER. It feels like it's already been and gone and there's just too much of it around for me to get excited about it.
. I really need some concealer. >_>;; Does anyone use concealer and know of a good brand? I have no idea about it. =/ Maybe I'll go on some makeup sites...
. I haven't felt like translating at all this past week.... I must be sick. o.O It's actually worrying me. It happened straight after the JLPT, so I'm pretty sure it's that. Maybe the exam gave me a Japanese overload or something? I don't know, but I just have no interest in translating anymore.
. I can't find Ryutaro's book anywhere. T_T I have been looking and looking and even got my dad to try and order it in through book stores, but I just can't find it. The book stores can't order it in if it hasn't been released yet. =/ I'm really tempted to ask someone here (like
karasu_0!) who can order from Amazon Japan to buy it for me, but I have no idea how that's going to work... Shipping would make everything really expensive and that's why I didn't want to order it through Muku as it would probably end up costing me around $50. I really don't want to pay $50 for it, no matter how much I want it. Why can't Amazon Japan accept Paypal?! T_T It would make my life a whole lot easier.
. Lastly, I feel like I've missed a lot of stuff here. I'm sorry I haven't been able to keep up and check my friends page, but I'll try to comment on the most recent entries. Sorry... >_<;;
