Some reviewers/critics are amazingly, hilariously snarky while still being somewhat objective. This guy probably tried to be like that but it just flops.

^^; Admittedly, I'm a little leery about snorting about purple prose when I am perfectly guilty of that flaw myself. Run-on sentences are included.

I'm not sure. Some writers are brilliant at certain and specific stylistic tricks and mannerisms. Others attempt to emulate and fail not quite spectacularly. I really have to wonder if he has any genuine interest in anime, given this utter vitriol that's spewing from him (unless he's doing it to be a troll and to rile the "legions of yaoi Hetalia fangirls"... though it inspires less rage from me and more of a general ".../facepalm" sort of reaction).

Bloody hell, I'm thinking too much about this. /facepalm
