The Birthday or Birthdays...
And so Birthday 2007 ends and the country prepares for my 2008 birthday in 364 days time. As usual, there was the island-wide sirens at noon (dillusional), there was the multiple parties (Merbau on 7th, Family dinner and Mark's place), there were all the wonderful friends I've made within the year and over the past few years of my life and best of all, THE GIFTS!!!
Here is a gift list (just the top stuff):
- Tranformer toys - I insisted I want to be a kid and ask for toys. so now I have Soundwave (and Laser beak), Skywarp (its the plane), Brawl (The tank), Optimus Prime, Bumblebee and Jazz.
- Red Puma shoes designed by Alexander MacQueen - I bought the shoes and told my aunt it is her present to me. I'm such an ass sometimes but those shoes are really nice AND 50% discount. hehe
- Adidas Shoes for gym - Adizero collection. It is super light and really good for my feet. I love it.
- Harry Potter wand - I actually got the movie version wand. It feels so good in my hand. Now I just need my letter for Hogwarts and my booklist.
- Mini me. ET crafted this miniature version of me (as seen in the previous party pix) in sugar for the cake topping. It was so sweet of him that I had to list it as a present.
- Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows book + Son of the Witch book. - Also from ET, he got me the 2 books I really wanted. Son of the Witch is continuation to the book WICKED which inspired the broadway musical.
- Some Condom + CD thing called the iDOM.
- A Tableware Set- My dear best friend Jia went through so much trouble putting together this big box of stuff from a tray, to cups and plates since she knows so well that I love to entertain. Should see the box, it was perfect.
- A Digital Camera - Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ3. One of my best presents simply because it was totally unexpected and very welcomed as I've never owned my own digital camera in my life and it came at a very good time since I'm embarking on my first big vacation alone next week.
- Loads of alcohol - my buddies know me so well and stocked my room full of alcohol that would last me to next year (wait, who's kidding? It will only last me till end Oct. lol).
Anyways, took some nice pix last night with the new cam and will post them up soon. Need to get used to it.
