Firstly--
Sorry I haven't responded to messages. I've been super tired from cycling out of and back into Keto now,and I work 10 hour shifts so I'm usually pretty busy. I'm almost back in Ketosis and I plan on sticking with this diet for life now.
So about my New Orleans trip:
There isn't too much to say it was a perfectly normal trip. Sans Vampires. I didn't really expect to find them anyhow. The city is still in a constant state of deterioration. The roads have a ton of potholes and are terrible. Other then that it was a good relaxing time. We staye in a VRBO little old historic shotgun style house on Royal st. It was a lovely house, and very relaxing. It rained off and on.
We did the tourist stuff and took a vampire, witch and ghost tour.
I did feel some unusual stuff at ursuline convent but I didn't personally feel any spirit activity there or pick up anything, granted I was outside.
The biggest one I felt was the LaLaurie Mansion. I got a hit of someone watching us from the gallery. The curtains were open in that room and I watched them sway even though the window was closed. I was told that "she" was watching us. She always watches everyone. I can't say for sure who "she" was but that is what they are refer to her as. The place where the fire started and the upper theid story rooms just felt like a void. This was about the time we had to break off and end the tour early to go back to our parking spot cause our parking meter was up.
It took me awhile to shake off the unhuman energy. Prior to that we went to both Omen and Hex and got some supplies ,and souvenirs and shirts.
Overall it was a normal trip. Not too much to report. I'm sure as time goes on I'll write more about it but there was nothing out of the ordinary for me. I felt like everything has been wiped and whomever I encountered (who I thought to be Lestat) has long since been gone. I was feeling like gone for 3-5 years atleast.
Only thing strange was my heightened psychic gifts this time, people who thought I shouldn't be there, and the sense that no one knows anything. There were a few random paparazzi type camera men popping up in the Frech Quarter and the owner of Voodoo Authentica stepped out and felt my presence and I just smiled at him.
We also bought an awesome painting from an artist in Jackson Square and visited NOMA on my birthday.
The rennainsance collection is astounding. I slept through most of my birthday though. I had a ton of dreams every night and felt like I was helping cross over some souls or something. The longer I stayed the more tired and drained I became. The house was so comforting though and I felt like I could live there. I didn't take many pics but I'll potentially add more later. I'm still feeling like a zombie from the trip.
