Enthralled
Good morning all,
This is my first weekend in this house. I've been so extremely busy between work and moving,unpacking that I haven't had time to eek out a proper message. I'm still unpacking but we managed to get everything from the hotel and storage all moved over in one day on Tuesday.
I'm loving it, missed this neighborhood. I have a huge backyard and an outdoor fire pit. I'll take pics and share sometime this weekend. We will be spending most of our day still unpacking. I forgot about all the shit I own lol. Everything is cozy and doing good. Squid starts his job on Monday. The only issue is we're going to need some new furniture.
When we left Reno we left our huge desks and gave away our kitchen table so we've had to make due with temporary setups for now for a couple of weeks, so I won't be able to unpack my knick knacks or PC until then. I have my work PC setup on my tarot table for now. We also need to get a new bedframe, whoops. Haha.No it's not what your thinking it was old...I swear ha. No seriously we are gonna break down and buy a sleep number anyhow soon.
Finally catching up on my shows, and caught the 3 new episodes of Mandolorian and hooked up the PS and signed in. It's been ages but still not enough time to play games yet.Haha.
The only issue we are having so far is our neighbor behind us has a kiddy pool full of cess water and mosquitos have been breeding and it's so bad you get eaten in the backyard. Got about 15 bites thus far. We plan on getting more tiki torches for now. I will probably plant citronella to combat it. We have a sectioned off area in the backyard which will become my veggie garden. We have 3 neighborhood cats that come and visit us everyday. We also have 3 oak trees in the backyard.
