today I went back to the MEZZ for the first time since January 1st!!
it was soooo refreshing to be back in that environment, and to be around mature, dynamic Christians. to be in a place where you don't know everyone and it doesn't matter. and none of the high school drama is brought since no one is in high school. except for yours truly, at least. but it was such a good feeling just to see everyone and remember exactly how nice everyone is. and that I really do have the capability to meet new people, and bond with them, even though I haven't known them from infancy.
I just feel so good now. it is the kind of church where, when praise and worship starts, the air is thick with God. The atmosphere is electric, buzzing, it fills you up and then some. People aren't afraid of what others will think if they raise their hands or shout in praise. People aren't afraid to be nice.
man I really missed it, and going back has been the best thing I got to do this weekend. :)
