A most excellent chapter. I like your Rodney better than I like Rodney on the show. Which would take too long to explain what I mean but suffice it to say, I really loved this chapter.

I love House sending Chase in to watch Rodney. So to speak. And Rodney getting what's going on. And Chase kinda getting things too and all of it.

Can't wait for Rodney's embarrassing stories.

Cool beans. I get kind of tired of his rants on illness and I'm going with the idea that he knows House would hit him for such a rant (he'll talk to Shep about it at some point).

I really think that Rodney pays attention he just doesn't give a crap most of the time. And Chase knows that it's a ploy, but he's willing to go along with it if it means he doesn't have either House or Wilson hovering (well, House hovering in his House-way).

I have a few. I need to think of some more though.

Hurt!Chase and lots of House banter makes sleepyheathen a v. happy camper!
I love the "dun dun dun" moment of Cuddy walking in at the end. Hee.

:D
I wasn't sure at first if writing the fighting with Rodney like I am was IC enough, but then when I reread it I didn't care cause I was too busy laughing. :D
Yeah, I had to break it there because the fighting with Cuddy took three pages and that made it too long for this part.

I can imagine House building a bomb. LOL Awww, poor Chase. I take it everyone knows what happened since Wilson has been bribing nurses to let him know if something goes on that he can't handle? Looking forward to the update, as always.

I can imagine him telling off the CIA when they showed up to discuss it with him. :D Yeah, poor Chase. You notice he isn't working ICU, yeah, there's a reason. House's victim that hasn't woken, guess where he is. Yep. So while most people don't know the extent of the attack they know he was beat up and that House injuried one of the attackers. :)

Nice job. I love how you've written the trio noticably different, yet they still make perfect sense. Rodney & John are an interesting pair. I liked your rational for House being House, the same thing happened one year at school for me, (although nobody was named House).

I've got a bit a crit. For this sentence:
He was always capable of being the most oblivious person when it came to other people, but then he’d have filed away all these little things that he could surprise you with."

I think it should be "seeming to be the most oblivious" because that implies that he was noticing just not commenting or appearing to notice. Whereas, "capable of being" implies that he didn't notice, which makes the filing things away part seem a bit strange if he's oblivious in the first place. Just a thought.

Thanks. I'm trying with each version to make them senseable within their universe I hope it continues to work. John and Rodney are fun. I'm still trying to figure out how to write John to sound remotely like he should so it may be another chapter before he starts really talking. I needed something because Rodney calling House by his first name just seems funny. For my school it was Jessica (there were three) and Jennifer (there were 5 with different spellings).

I dropped a word as I typed. 'seeming' should be there. Everytime I've reread it my brain been seeing 'seeming' there. :P I'll go fix that. Thanks for saying something.

In primary school I had four Bens, three Sarahs, two Crystals, three Joshs...
It's amazing how typical parents can be when naming their children.

This is really great. :) I love the banter between the characters. I wish I knew more about John and Rodney. Do you have any suggestions as to where I could go to get a general idea of the characters and their universe? Thanks. :) I can't wait for the next update!
