H/C/W is my OT3 and it is such a relief to read a fic that tries to create a balance between the vulnerabilities and insecurities of the characters by not making it all about one character. I am so tired of victim!Chase or totally heartless!House and hardcore BDSM is so not my thing. I don't mind Chase's insecurities so much because he isn't the only one in the relationship with baggage (which means the potential for the other two to also be comforted, although you already have Chase and Wilson subtly in tune to House's needs) & also the mutual marking of partners shows that they are trying to equalize their place in the relationship.
Eagerly anticipating the next installment

I'm glad this is working for you. Balancing them is what I'm trying for. I love some of the other fics I've read with H/W/Ch, but the sort of balance I'm trying for seems to be a rare thing. Hardcore BDSM isn't really my thing either and this fic is decidedly bland in the kink department, it being my first try and all.

I think they each have their baggage and I try to show that. They all get their chances for hurts and comforts by the end. I wasn't actually thinking about the marking like that. Hmmm.

You are incredibly talented dear. I must say, adding our Calontiri pride into this was genius!! Love that you are incorporating SCA into it. Nice surprise!!

LOLOL I died laughing when i read "chirougeons" XD and knew exactly what this would be but that's a really amusing thing to see House in the SCA...there are many strange folks there so perhaps he'd fit in XD
