I'm glad that you find it interesting enough to keep reading. I've got to update the other fics before I update this again. I will get it done though (and am I bad for already having outlined half of the next story for this 'verse?).

I usually think of OOC as something competely out of the scope of the character. Sure, House doesn't cook, but if he had a reason and it was going to annoy someone I think he'd cook. Thus, for me at least, it's not OOC.

Ah, I was waiting for someone to ask. Actually it comes from the way the SCA people were acting in the hospital. They'd speak freely to House, Wilson, and Chase, but were rather distant to the rest. Plus, when seated she and Foreman were away from the others. And, then of course there was Emma. So in her head she thought of Chase as being there because the weird SCA people wanted him there. She asked Wilson because she knew asking House was pointless (besides getting her teased forever) and there was no way in hell she was going to get any nearer to Emma than she had to so she could ask Chase directly. :)

And Wilson will mention it to Chase, who will ask Foreman if she knows. That's next chapter somewhere.
