The October 13: Roundup Post
In an effort to encourage myself to start writing again (and maybe psych myself up for NaNoWriMo), I've embarked on a mini-challenge which I am calling the October 13. The goal is to write 13 stories, one a day until Halloween, about 13 different fandoms, featuring 13 different Halloween or seasonally-themed prompts. I pick my fandom and prompt at random each morning, and I can think about my story as long as I want, but I have only 13 minutes to actually write the snippet. Then I can make minor edits before posting.
I'm mainly posting these on my deviantart account, but I figured I'd cross-post here as I get the time to do so. I'm kind of excited since I'll be trying out several new fandoms, and I think it might give me the boost I need.
Day 1: The Not-Again Affair (The Man from U.N.C.L.E.; "party"; humor; PG)
Day 2: Self-Determination (Merlin; "cobwebs"; humor; PG)
Day 3: ?? (House; "ghosts"; ??)
