Somehow a romantic cozy cave on the beach wasn't so romantic or cozy come morning. Especially when said cave really wasn't anywhere near the beach so there wasn't even the symbolic crashing of the waves anymore

Mornings weren't generally Bobby's favorite time of day, so he tended to drag out the waking-up process as long as possible.
...Except, of course, when there was shrieking. Shrieking usually meant something bad was happening, like Sentinels or Magneto or monkeyponies or goblins-
Or waking up in a cave next to a certain redhead. "Gah!" was Bobby's helpful contribution, scrambling back a few paces.
"But I'm not that kind of girl," Angelica protested, trying to sort through her memories about the night before. Bobby was really nice and all but she didn't know him that well yet. Why would she have thought she was so deeply in love with him?
At least it had been Bobby and not someone like Nathan. Ew. Ew.
"No," Bobby said. "She'll understand. I think." He was... mostly sure that Sookie would be understanding about the whole Fandom-induced bizarreness factor, so there wouldn't be any danger of getting fairy-zapped.
"N-nothing," Angelica sniffled, finding a sleeve of the shirt she was still clutching to dab her eyes. "It's just...after my first kiss I set a barn on fire by accident. And my second was someone controlling my mind. And now this."

"Wait, wait, wait," Bobby said, not addressing the fact that there was kind of no way she'd have been able to set him on fire. But the 'it just happened' defense sounded... eerily familiar. And then there was the fact that she'd name-dropped a 'Ms Frost'.

And now Bobby felt guilty, because that tone was familiar too, and the last thing he wanted was to be associated with anyone who might inspire that sort of reaction.
"It's not a bad thing!" he said hurriedly. "It's just- me too."

"Really?" Angelica said, her embarrassment forgotten for the moment. "I knew Warren was, and he said there were others like us here, but I didn't know you were, too! Gosh, isn't Fandom great? We don't have to hide what we are here."

And then she burst into tears.

Oh, crap.
Bobby was... really not good at dealing with crying. Especially crying girls. "What did I say?"

She gave Bobby a sad look. "You're lucky I didn't burn you, too."
