[mod post] Open Membership
So after having my ass thoroughly handed to me and being force-fed my own foot on the aphanon_meme last night, I've decided to remove the "moderation" aspect of joining this comm. Doujinshi is still posted under members-lock, but joining now takes all of two seconds to do, and you can leave the comm immediately after if you so please. No more PM's, no more waiting, no more proving you're a "real person." Just pop right in and take what you want.
Also, the password hints will be removed soon after this post is made. All you will have to do is copy-paste them into the input fields. Hopefully that will reduce any difficulties you may be having when downloading my scans.
I have to say, however, that I was completely unaware that so many people were having issues with my policies. Until last night, not a single person had complained to me or told me I was being unfair. Needless to say, I was shocked and hurt by what people were saying about me without my knowledge. I did not mean to come across as a "snobbish," "egotistical," "totalitarian bastard," "standing on my high horse" and "acting like such a cunt." Really, no one had said a thing to me, so I just assumed everything was fine. Had I known so many people disliked what I was doing, these changes would have been enacted long ago.
I would also like to apologize for anything inflammatory I may have said last night. I have never been suddenly piled on like that, online or IRL, so I had no idea how to respond other than to act childishly and defensively. I'll see to it that that doesn't happen again.
Lastly, I have a request for everyone: next time you have a problem with me or something I'm doing, please just tell me directly. I'd like to not have to go through all that again, if it's at all possible. I'll try my best to be as accommodating as I can from here on in.
