and i guess this is how these things go. and i guess this is something that happens. and eyes stay dry and fingers crossed. and words are given which can never be taken back. but they are received with a smile. because what else can you do when the world falls down in front of you. hands that once felt some sort of warmth become cold and shaky. im sorry, two words falling to two deaf ears. and this is the time when there is nothing to do but wait. and hope. its no use regretting. this is just something that happens. and theres no one here to blame. but someone takes it anyway. and happiness gives way to smug contempt. i loved you. but these words dont mean a thing. i am letting you go.
