Ok, I felt the need to notify all of my mother's generocity. Keep in mind that I have no money because I've spent it all getting into this house and am without 2 paychecks as my old job is not paying me and owes me over a grand and I might have to sue. I don't mean to be selfish because I have a place to live(get back to me on that fact in a few weeks though!) but I can't help it when its like "Hmm...help out my one and only child.....or strangers".
So I'm talking to my mom the other night and she was telling me about the bad day she had been having, so she went to the casino and said that half of any winnings that she won would be donated to the Red Cross hurricane relief fund. She never wins because she plays penny machines, but she bet a whopping 10 cents on this one spin and won $2550.70. TWO THOUSAND FIVE HUNDRED AND FIFTY DOLLARS. And she went home and wrote a check to the Red Cross for $1275. TWELVE HUNDRED AND SEVENTY FIVE DOLLARS. I mean come on! I felt generous donating $50 to the Sept 11th fund, but this takes the cake. I would make a cake, but I can't afford the ingrediants!!! LOL :)
