Has it not been FOREVER since I've posted....

...it feels like forever! Time for a DRAMA UPDATE:

I had given up hope that we'd ever get out of our apartment with Amy. She was making it nearly impossible, she was being so out of control bitchy that I was about ready to enter the witness protection program so the courts couldn't find me and sue my ass for breaking my lease. Then a breakthrough.

Amy agreed to sign the release if we did this that and the other thing, which Kevin agreed to, and she FINALLY signed on Monday. Kevin and I moved out on Tuesday and we're now the proud renters of a gorgeous apartment at Timberline Village Luxury Rentals, woo hoo!!!!! Loving in, loving it. Moving out was so hard, nobody saw my old apartment, but to move out, you had to carry whatever down a flight of stairs, down a sidewalk, around an icy corner, down another sidewalk (this one snow covered) and up another longer flight of stairs, it was INSANE. It would take us over an hour to load the truck up, and then only 20 minutes to unload, since the new place isn't on a hill, isn't upstairs, and is in a better location. Jeez, it was a mess, and I admit I was a huge whiner. Huge. Kevin said he was going to do everything himself, didn't want me lifting a finger, and it soon became apparent that it was going to take LOADS more time than anticipated and I ended up burning a years worth of calories that night.

Anyway, our new apartment is becoming a home, we started unpacking yesterday and its so cute, we've finally got a washer and dryer!!! A walk-in closet that makes me so happy, and the bathroom is huge. Love the gas fireplace, so cute. We went out and bought an entertainment center last night for all our TV paraphenillia, and even though we've still got lots to unpack, its cute. Very cute. All must come visit before July 31! Kevin's dad gave us the most beautiful hutch, its SO NICE, and it looks so adult and beautiful in our dining room (the only thing we have for that room..oh well...) if we sold it, I could get $500 easy, but we're going to try to take it back to Oregon with us in July.....

So its starting to look up. I interviewed for the permanant Case Manager position and got it, so I've got a permanant position here (its a good job!) a fabulous apartment....and I NEVER have to see Amy again if I don't want to! Well hopefully, she had her father call me the other day (oh my god did I get in the middle school time capsule by accident?!) because I had taken a dish towel of hers. A DISH TOWEL. Still haven't found it in the boxes, but I'm sure somebody will call me about that. She'll probably call for some other reason to complain but now that I'm off the lease, she can kiss my ass! OH YEAH BABY!!!!
