There is only one reason for the smells of smoke, beer, exhaust and burnt rubber being a good combination...A NASCAR RACE!!! Went to the Phoenix race this weekend. It was flippin fabulous! The hotel we stayed at Saturday night was also the hotel that Tony Stewart's and Bobby Labonte's pit crews were in! We saw them leaving as we were heading to the race. THEN the hotel we stayed at last night is the same hotel that Jack Rousch and most of the drivers stayed at!!! It was so awesome! Rusty's second to last pit was crappy. He came out with horrible tires, went sideways in turn 2 and fell to 26th. After that it was downhill. He finally pitted on green and got rid of those tires then started blowing past everyone. He finally made it up to Biffle (who should have won the race)...Rusty could have easily passed him and Busch and gotten his lap back, but had he passed Biffle, that would have just put one more car between him and Busch, and Rusty is a better driver than that. He let Biffle keep his spot.
