Well, that was quite the surprise. It seems that there was a [pause] creature under my bed when I was trying to go back to sleep this morning. It appeared to be some sort of large spider that was attempting to spin a web in my room. After a short conversation, I was able to convince it to leave my home, though where it went, I cannot say.

What a very interesting start to my day.
