North end adventures
So remember I said I lived in the crazy part of town?
We've seen fist fights, drug use and car fires but this one is a new one.
Lemme tell you it was an odd day yesterday when you find THIS in the back lane.
At first we thought it was a sawed off shot gun but its actually a sawed off .22 rifle.
My mom was shoveling the water down to the drain so it wouldn't flood the back lane when this guy was walking all around being a sketch. He looked like he was looking for something as he stared at her and walked around. Stopped 5 houses down to stare at her some more.
After a while he left.
My dad was going to break a pile of snow away from the garbage bin since some kids were climbing on our garage roof. He started to chip away at the snow and hit something ... he only needed one look and knew what it was.
The rifle was reaaally rusty, the place where you put the ammo was back so it might have some in it still.
The next day the police came to pick it up. He tried to get it open and it wouldn't budge. Hilarity ensued when phone call after phone call trying to figure out how to get THE BOX, which is a big box to put guns that wont open and might have live ammo in it.
As we were talking this kid started climbing the other garage next to ours my dad said "Hey get off there". And the police echoed the order and the kids face changed so fast ... its like he crapped his pants at the sight of the officer! HAHAHAHAHA! After the kid left we all laughed so hard xD
The box finally came within 3 hours and the gun was gone to be destroyed ... its already destroyed as in rusty as hell but you know :P
In the middle of that the officer was like " ... I feel like I should be doing something here ... like rake the grass or something since I'm going to be here for a while"
And he offered to buy us all Tim Hortons :P
All in all, odd couple of days xD
