A/N: AU Erica :) Not violent, not fluffy very Halloweenish...unbeta'ed :P
A/N1: This is what I get for going grocery shopping, one whopping plot bunny!
“You will never again feed of the lifeblood of man, you are cast out, an abomination to us all” Erica's teeth elongated at the words of the High Lady Vampire, her ex lover and confidant, and she hissed at the woman seated before her.
Cast out for one folly of the heart that had changed the balance of power from evil to good.
Standing in the shadows behind all the assembled vampires clothed in a deep cowl of black stood the arch angel Tyriel, he considered the newly cast out vampire and ran through what he knew of her.
Falling for a mortal was bad enough, but falling for a future angel spelt death for the deviants of darkness, Erica had refused to turn the beautiful woman and in turn had been cast out, partially through jealousy and partially because when the woman ascended, her ascension changed the tide between good and evil, landing the blame squarly on Erica's shoulders.
A voice in his head, the Lord High Angel Delmathra, was speaking gently to him pulling him out of his musings “this one can be turned Tyriel, you must try” Nodding slightly so as to not garner any attention he backed slowly out of the room and wen to to wait for the now outcast Erica in her quarters.
Meanwhile still standing in front of the throne, Erica was staring defiantly at the High Lady who was matching her glare for glare, licking her lips she softened slightly and said in a more gentler tone “You have two hours to leave this place, gather your belongings, say goodbye to your acquaintances and gather the knowledge you will need to survive in the human world, no one will impede you but as soon as you leave here it will be like you never existed”.
Nodding Erica turned on her heel and walked, with her head held high, back down the aisle through the throng of observing vampires heading towards her quarters.
Stopping just at the door way she turned back for one last time, taking in the splendor of the throne room and the woman seated on the throne. Shaking her head she exited, and it was the last they saw of her for a very very long time.
