An update...bit long
My week has been crap to say the least, well this is going over two weeks but still.
3rd August 3:30pm Ultrasound with specialist present, 4:30pm comes and he hasn't shown so I'm lying their with my tits out waiting for this guy who doesn't show, they send me home and have to re schedule for the next week. Luckily I am on long service leave for the next two weeks hey?
4th August: Sitting in the doctors office making the appointment for my foot to be done V and realizing that my mother has to go in for surgery she has a hardening in her left breast that has to be removed and her nipple has been retracted which according to the doctor is not good, appointment with her specialist made for the 3rd of September.
Saturday 8th August 1:30 pm; Sitting in the doctors room with an anesthetized toe as he digs out the root of my plantar wart, talk about deep man, then when the toe finally figures it out and starts to bleed profusely he has finished. It looked like a crater, still does but at least I can drive again, yes I realize Aussies drive with their right but I put pressure on the foot rest with the left and if it pained me while i was driving that's the end of that. It was sitting up on the computer desk for three days, as soon as it got itchy up it went, bad for my posture but hey.
Monday 10th August 2009: Tinsel in for surgery on her tail, because she was give one(1) piece of bread that morning he was unable to do the procedure on her thus she stayed in overnight.
Tuesday 11th August 2009: Dog home in the PM, drugged out, slept all through the night
Wednesday 12th August 2009: Wake up, get up, feed her a little bit, look at her tail, MF bandage has slipped overnight revealing the wound which is bleeding, not to mention that her tail is cold so the bandage has to come off ASAP, rushed her in to the vet, kept her overnight.
Thursday 13 August 2009: Repeat ultrasound thing fucking hurt but they finally kind of figured out whats fucking wrong with me. It was repeatedly noted on inspiration (breath in) that the rib space on the left 9th/10th side were consistently narrowed and reduced on inspiration (breath in) compared to the right side. On the left it measures 7.8mm compared with 13.8mm on the right. Left the place then had to go back just as we arrived home because the radiologist couldn't see what he was meant to be seeing on the x-ray that they also took. Headed home then realized pup needed a new bed so we went to Blacktown and got it for her and lunch for ourselves.
Went and got said pup, she has an E collar on (Elizabethan Collar aka bucket) on her head and a fully re stitched and exposed tail.
Friday 14 August 2009: Finally drove for the first time in almost a week, dog is able to lick her tail even with the e collar on so mum rigged up a sheaf for her tail, tis one of my old socks tied to her tail with old shoe laces up and under her belly and tied in a triple bow on her back, she can still lick it though, needs a bigger collar.

Monday 17 August 2009: Driving test today, will hopefully get it. This means I am no longer restricted with my driving because at the moment I am on my green Provisional license which means I am restricted in my speed and have a curfew, after Monday if I pass the test I will move to my black license which is unrestricted.
