‘...at these times she is Erica, mother, protector, confidant but when you see her without the baby in her arms, she is Doctor Hahn to the core, with a slight softness in her eyes, a softness held only for that one tiny helpless being lying it her crib.’ I loved visualising Erica as a mother, single or with someone. I believe as you wrote, that she will never lose her hard doctor front, and to see that small gentleness in her eyes was perfect.
#33 World
I loved the straightjacket metaphor, Erica is a person who would hold it all in until that irreparable moment when she snapped. Time is powerfull, constantly changing, yet remaining stable .With time tree’s grow, leaves fall and wounds heal.

‘Her walls where down and shattered and the little girl that had been suppressed for so long had bubbled to the surface.’ I can feel this true, Erica’s hard front finally melting to Callie to reveal a scared young girl that was hurt all over again. ‘...things where not okay, tings where not alright but things needed to be said, no matter the consequences.” Gah, so true, even if it didn’t work - they needed to talk.
