It always pleases me to see people still getting enjoyment out of the Firefly franchise despite Fox being a total leg humping gimp over it. Bet they never thought it would come so far after they cancelled the series, and I bet they're kicking themselves over it.

Yeah, I wholeheartedly aggree. They cancelled it at a very strange point without really giving it a chance. I think they took one look at what Joss Wheadon had created and said "It's not Buffy the Vampire Slayer". I think the same happened with Futrurama.

So glad the writers, cast and crew got their film after it was cancelled. They deserved it.

As far as popular vampire culture goes, I think Buffy is some of the best. (Can't say the same for Angel though>)
