I'm on a bit of an organisation streak. (If only it'd transfer to coursework).

Shockingly, I showed a feat of organisation tonight at PaganSoc, when not one, but two socials managed to get organised. To be fair one of them was suggested by a member and the details were mostly worked out between her, the Treasurer and the Vice-Chairman, but I managed to get the second one sorted out myself. I do wish I could take credit for ( Read more... )

Looks like a pretty active calendar, well done. I might turn up for the discussion on the history of paganism, though I can't really claim any knowledge of the subject. What is the position with regards to membership and non-member attendance? Are you planning on having guest speakers at the discussions, or will they just be free for alls?

Non-members can turn up and non-students can become members if they so wish, but we're trying to have the organisation and running done by university members.

We'll be booking guest speakers if we can get them, but people are free to turn up and take part in the discussions as and when they wish.

The History of Paganism one might end up on a different date. I think we were planning on getting someone in for that one and we've not establised when they can make it yet.

We are also thinking of scheduling a discussion of Paganism throughout the world, as one of our members want to talk about Japanese Paganism and we thought it might be nice to talk about lots of other diffrent forms of Paganism accros the world. I know we have other members who know about Jewish, Greek and Norse Paganism, but I don't know weather or not any of them want to talk about it also.

Coolness. It'd be great to see you down there sometime.

Have we actually met in person yet?

We've seen each other around, but nothing more.

Oh, wait, you know that game of "Are you a Werewolf?" that you had to rush to leave at the Nodd 24 hour games? I was the one running round the table organising that. I'm Tim.

I know your name is Tim, but I dodn't quite recall a specific meeting. I remember doing the werewolf game (way fun BTW), but I can't quite put a face to the name. You'll have to point yourself out to me next time you see me.
