i was talking to someone very intellegent today and i was telling them about how crazy i've been lately and they really helped alot and i love them very much for everything.
rookie camp was very exciting for the past two days. and i love how i get to spend all my time this marching season with the drumline and pit...haha. travis and i pinky-promised we'd be bus buddies this season.
oh man the drumline was at the front of the block and we played the drill game(kind of like simon says except without simon says..and my dad pays the winner $20) and before my dad even started calling commands drew scratched his nose at attention and so he was out and then i dont know what emory did to get out but he did and then my dad called dress center dress and travis and i were looking at each other trying not to laugh and my dad tried to trick the band the first time with a random command and when that happens we yell "as you were sir" and we both got it right but then my dad did it again and we both flinched and so did the rest of the drumline practically so we all lost. hahaha it was great.
ricky came today and we did our acting thing like 5 times in front of all the upcoming freshmen and some guy and girl came up to me and were like "i thought you two were really angry with each other." hahaha it was quite funny. i started yelling at him and it went on for a minute or two and we were both screaming at the top of our lungs at each other and then we just stopped and started laughing and hug and walk away and they all had confused faces. we freaked out alot of the eighth graders. :D we decided that it was warm-ups for band camp....ooo.
hey guess what?? mat coxey is like living with us this summer and is helping my dad on the farm and up on our land. he's gonna help us move too...my dad's paying him to do it. i get to have an almost brother. =o i'm so excited.
p.s. aaron putnam is my hero of the day.
