Watched two movies yesterday, both about pianists: Shine (which I had seen before) and The Pianist (which I had not). Both are excellent films, though the pianist is... hard to watch. about half way through I went and got a bottle of scotch. Drinking usually doesn't do much for me in terms of release from emotion, but a little numbness helps in that.

Anyway, today is bright and sunny. I'm going to try and get to the library tommorrow. and, while today is a payday, I have a lot of credit card bills to pay off as well as stuff to buy for motorcycling related purposes, so we'll see.
