I don't know if you've noticed this, but the song 'Bohemian Rhapsody' is universal. This summer I was at my cousin's wedding and at one point during the reception the DJ played the song. Everyone sang along and it was a really fun moment. This last weekend, when Liz and I were in Amsterdam, we randomly went into what was dubbed a "rock bar" based on the assumption that we might hear some good music. This was sorely tested, as the first song to play after we showed up was 'Mr. Jones' by Counting Crows. After that things picked up and after a few songs the whole bar was singing along to Bohemian Rhapsody. I tell ya, that song really ties a room together.
Then I asked the bartender to play some Iron Maiden and SHE DID. One for the record books!
