Allen is also physically fit and skilled at combat to the point where he can do push-ups with a chair at an angle, one handed and do over 300. He can also seem to be a master at playing poker… though this is usually because he cheats. So he can cheat really well and win every card game.
Personality:
Due to moments in his past he has developed a habit of having a dark mode which is ruthless and if playing a game of cards like poker refuses to lose and does any means necessary to win, even if it means cheating and this side of him is what tends to scare any of those who are near him.
When not in dark mode he is a kind and gentle person and would try to save anyone who needed help especially anyone that he deemed a good friend, even if that said good friend did not exactly like them back.
Even though he comes from the order, Allen is a nice and caring individual who if given the choice would not want to hurt anyone, he only does what he does because he wants to free the souls that are trapped within the Akuma. Allen can also be seen as a polite individual and can handle himself pretty well if left alone in the middle of nowhere, unless he gets lost, which he had a big habit of doing in big places.
When it comes to his friends, Allen will put their lives first before his own, he will self-sacrifice himself so that they could be safe and out of harms way, although sometimes his friends do not like him for doing this as friends should help out one another.
History:
Abandoned when he was young he was taken in by a man called Mana where they travelling since Mana’s job was being a travelling performer. Travelling with him lasted for a few years before Mana died.
When that happened Allen was upset. That was when the Millennium Earl stepped in and said that he could bring Mana back to him by just calling out his name and he would come back. Allen did this and his adoptive father came back as a Akuma, a weapon that is used by the Earl to destroy humanity.
The Akuma was ordered to kill Allen and take his form, but this did not go according to plan, as before he was killed he managed to slash at Allen's left eye, cursing him for turning him into a Akuma and when he was just about to kill him Allen's Innocence activated for the first time and destroyed him, all the while Allen crying and telling Mana to run.
It was a little after this that he met his Master who explained to Allen about Akuma and asked if he wanted to be his apprentice so that he could free the souls that are trapped forever once they become Akuma, unless you become an exorcist. Cross Marian had taken him as his apprentice, though most of his time with his master is something that Allen hates to remember.
After three years of spending his time mostly paying off his debts, Allen was knocked out in India where he had to then travel by himself from India all the way to where the Black Order was. After making a stop on the way and helping a Akuma out by freeing their soul from the body that they were forced into and then another stop to help a boy from being killed from Akuma, only to meet the Earl once again, he soon made it to the Order.
When being scanned to see if he is a Akuma or not the gate guardian panicked since he found that during the scan there was the symbol of the Akuma on Allen. This was the curse that he had gotten from Mana so the symbol was on his eye or just above.
Since they believed him to be a Akuma they had sent out an exorcist to sort it out him called Kanda and after nearly slicing him open, but not after injuring his innocence first they found the letter, that Cross had sent beforehand mentioning that Allen would be coming.
Allen tried to be friends with Kanda, but it failed as he seemed to have an instant dislike to him as Lenalee the girl who had stopped Kanda and brought them inside had shown him around, before taking him to see Komui, who would fix his innocence and let him visit Hevlaska who told them that Allen was to become the ‘Destroyer of Time.’
Allen’s first mission for the Order was to go to a place called Mater and get the innocence that was there and for this mission he had to go with Kanda. The two did not get along and Allen even got the nickname Beansprout instead of his name. When they finally got to the place they saw that a lot of Akuma were there at which Allen went in head first and managed to destroy one, but failed to destroy the second as it evolved into a Level two Akuma.
Kanda had left Allen to handle it himself, but this ended with him getting beaten and buried under some rubble, which he later got out of and while trying to look for Kanda and the finder that had come with them, got himself lost… very, very lost. It did take him a while to find them and just in time to be able to stop Kanda from killing a finder who had been made to look like the Akuma, whereas the Akuma was beside Kanda the whole time.
After sending the Akuma flying he had to carry both Kanda and the finder and eventually ended in the same place where the innocence was. The innocence was in a doll called Lala, who had escaped from Kanda before and had hidden here, but it was not long before the Akuma soon caught up and got the innocence, which made Allen angry since it meant that Lala was gone and the other man that was with her had lost the one he loved.
With this anger he had formed a new weapon from his arm, a gun looking weapon and also a sword looking type as he tried to defeat him, before the backfire kicked in and it went back to normal for the time being, but in the end both Allen and Kanda destroyed him together.
Kanda not long after had to go to another mission and Allen went back to the Order alone to drop it off the innocence. On returning he had a run in with a robot that had gone out of control, which in the end sorted out eventually by Lenalee.
Allen’s next missions were with two different people. The first was with Lenalee to go to investigate a rewinding town in which they meet a Noah for the first time named Road who had managed to take them to a different dimension. Allen tried to save a Akuma who had been told to self destruct itself, but did not make it in time, this lead to Lenalee smacking him hard across the face and said the reason she stopped him was before she was his friend.
By the end of it they had gained a new exorcist during the process called Miranda who could heal wounds they might get, if only for a temporary amount of time.
After taking a short break and getting as fixed as he could get and meeting Bookman and Lavi, two more exorcists and also what was known as Bookman, those who record history. With them and after Allen learned that even without the eye, which was damaged in the fight with Road and the Akuma he would keep moving forwards, he went on another mission to look for his Master.
While searching Allen missed a train that the others was on and ended doing a job along with Lavi who had come back to get him, to investigate the castle that was in the town they were in. Going to investigate the castle and meeting the vampire for the first time Allen ended getting bitten as he held the guy with his innocence, which sent the guy away back into the castle.
People kept their distance because he was bitten and believed that he would become a vampire himself, Lavi even prepared himself by carrying a stake and garlic. They went into the castle and when they got there came face to face with some man-eating flowers in which they met Eliade, who dumped a mans body into where the flowers were. When the flowers ate the body they all died and on closer inspection discovered to have the Akuma virus.
Allen along with Lavi soon discovered that Krory was only going after people who were Akuma and not humans, thus they came to the conclusion that he might just be like them, but just not realizing it. Krory had soon appeared and knocked Allen through a few walls, leaving him with Lavi.
Allen soon found out that Eliade was a Akuma who soon knocked him out and as she was about to cut off his head with an axe, while still out cold Allen managed to grab it with his innocence arm, broke it as he tried to hurt her, but only landed a starch. Before waking up his pentacle had evolved and eventually the battle was soon lead to the same room that Lavi’s and Krory’s had gone to as well.
Allen soon found himself about to be eaten by the man-eating flowers, but remembered something about them as he proclaimed his love for them, which stopped them from trying to eat them and then got Lavi to do the same thing. After the battles were over, Allen had convinced Krory to join them at the Order and when waiting outside the castle and watched as he had burned it down.
While travelling to China, Allen learned about Lenalee’s dream and promised he would not die and that he would protect her and also when he found Krory lost everything in a poker game, he played and cheated to get it all back and even stripped the people down to their underwear.
While searching for Cross they met Anita and from her found out that Cross had gone to Japan and with that information had decided that they would head off to Japan using Anita’s ship. Before they could head off a giant swarm of Akuma appeared and went passed them. When Allen and Lenalee went to find out just what they were after if it was not them and soon discovered why.
One of their comrades Suman Dark, an exorcist just like them had turned into what was known as a Fallen One. A fallen one is someone who had betrayed their innocence in some way, or usually when it does below 10% sync rate. Allen promised Lenalee that he would save him and while trying to get through, tried to save a little girl who was stuck and in the end ended going in, while asking Lenalee to save the girl.
Allen saw within Suman’s Fallen One form was his memories that were going into his head and saw just why he had betrayed the Black Order. While going towards a village and after Suman got Allen back out, Allen tried to reason with the man and when Suman was not going to he made his arm reach maximum state in hopes of trying to stop him, but instead it stopped activation and broke, causing a lot of pain to Allen.
In the end he managed to separate Suman from his innocence, but by then Suman was long gone, still alive but the brain had gone forever and all at the cost of pain in Allen’s left arm, but it was not to last as soon butterflies came out and had eaten him until there was nothing left.
This is where Allen soon met a Noah that was known as Tyki who not only broke off his arm and destroyed the innocence, but also left Allen to die, by stick a hole in his heart using a Teaze to make the hole. While Allen was left to die someone had come and managed to carry him to safety of the Asian branch of the Black Order.
It was discovered that his own innocence had filled in the hole and saved him, even though it was thought to of been destroyed, but it was thought that Allen could get it back if he trained and tried to reconnect with it by using Fou to help him. While failing to connected annoyed Allen because he wanted to get back to his friend Fou, who was disguised as someone else at the time talked to him and after that continued training until a Akuma level three attacked the place.
During the fight with the Akuma three and nearly dying he figured out what the innocence wanted and that was to help both humans and the Akuma as well and when he did his innocence came back and came back in a new form which was named the Crowned Clown.
After the fight Allen went via the arc that the Akuma had used to be able to get to where he was to be able to get to Edo, where the others currently were fighting. He appeared just in time to protect Lenalee and defend her against the Earl. When the Noah had escaped through the smoke Kanda tried to attack him, thinking that he was a Noah that Kanda had been fighting only moment ago, but turned out that they had all gone by then.
After a reunion among Allen and Lenalee while talking, Lenalee gets dragged into a portal by Lero in which Allen went in after her and ended, along with some others in Noah’s ark, which was going to be downloaded and destroyed within a set number of hours.
He met Tyki once again and found out that he was also the one he played poker with on the train going to China. Tyki gave them a key and told them to get to a certain place before the time runs out as that key will help them get there and also get to Road’s door that would let them be able to escape.
When using the key the first time they come across another Noah in the room, which Kanda wanted to face by himself and wanted the others to continue. After leaving Kanda behind, they soon came across their second door, behind this door was two Noah’s or a split form of one Noah.
It soon turned out that the reason they wanted Allen was because they wanted him to pay the bills that Cross has left them, this made Allen laugh and mention that it is only small change compared to all the money he had to pay off over the years. The twins had then stolen the key, which was on Allen’s person at the time and created an illusion with a field full of keys with only the one key being real.
While they made Lavi to try to find the real key out of all the fake ones, Allen along with help from Krory attack the two, while they could not see them and once Lavi found the key, and everything was back to normal without the illusions, Jasdevi became one being and Krory sent Allen and Lenalee along their way with Lavi as well while he would fight Jasdevi.
He along with some others soon got to the top where the first thing to happen to him when he walked through the door was get hugged by Road and also kissed, which shocked everyone including him. After a talk a fight started among Allen and Tyki, which ended in Allen being able to gain over 100% sync rate and being able to beat Tyki and getting rid of the Noah for good.
Road was not at all happy by this and during the fight had set Lavi up, once she had broken him, she let Lavi out as he started to fight with Allen. Allen tried to use his sword against him, but since it was not something that could be exorcised it was useless. It did take awhile before Lavi snapped himself out of it and managed to hurt Road and she disappeared.
When they were about to escape and use the door something happened to Tyki who had changed, or the Noah had taken fully over him as he started to attack everyone and was winning, until Allen’s master General Cross who helped them before the Earl showed up and had taken Tyki away and leaving them within the Ark as it continues with the download.
After losing Lavi and Chaoji to the Ark, Allen along with Lenalee and Cross went to where the Akuma egg was, or the thing that made the Akuma shell that the souls then enter when people call them. While Cross and Lenalee stayed there, Allen along with Timcanpy were sent to another room completely that had not been downloaded because no one knew about the room.
Allen was told to play the music that Timcanpy provided and when he saw it he recognized the piece as a secret code that he and Mana once did and once his fingers touched the piano he was able to play the tune perfectly, which brought back the Ark and everyone who had fallen into the void.
They all soon had a reunion and after the usual argument and a somewhat happy reunion they managed to reunite with everyone who had been fighting in Edo.
The point I am taking Allen from is when they send the Ark back to the Order and as they leave the portal to the ark everyone is waiting for them and say ‘Welcome Home.’

The place had been quiet, a little too quiet from the normal. Usually by now a Akuma or two would of shown themselves and started attacking, or a Noah would show up to try to make things difficult, but Allen noted that for once this mission was strangely quiet for his liking.
He had been told to go to this place and look it over since the finders were sure that innocence might be there currently, but to Allen there did not appear to be anything different, just a quiet town, with the people fearful indoors so asking them questions was out of the question.
He folded his arms, glancing around at the sight he saw, plain, nothing that catches the eye, yet they seem to think innocence was here or they would of never sent for him. Taking a couple of steps he continued to look around for any signs of Akuma, innocence or just the finder he was meant to meet.
He soon stopped and smiled, finder spotted and it did take a long time to find him in a large town such as this. He went to him before his eye activated as he turned his head in the direction it was coming from. So there were Akuma here, just waiting for their right moment to try to jump him, but Allen was ready, he was always ready for Akuma as he activated his arm or the Crowned Clown as he went toward them, hoping to do as he always did and save them.

[The Blackberry turned itself on as it shows what looks like a old man due to the white hair, balancing on a chair doing some sort of pushes up from the top of it... one armed. He doesn't seem to of noticed that the thing is even on or had been for a while.]
309... 310... 311...
[He stops as the sun has gone through the window as he looks at the direction.]
Oh the sun is up. [He finally moves landing on his feet as the chair is placed back in it's original position as he glances over at the Blackberry finally noticing.]
Oh, this has been on the whole time. How do you turn this thing off? [A few seconds later and after a lot of messing with it switches off.]
Third Person Sample:
The place had been quiet, a little too quiet from the normal. Usually by now a Akuma or two would of shown themselves and started attacking, or a Noah would show up to try to make things difficult, but Allen noted that for once this mission was strangely quiet for his liking.
He had been told to go to this place and look it over since the finders were sure that innocence might be there currently, but to Allen there did not appear to be anything different, just a quiet town, with the people fearful indoors so asking them questions was out of the question.
He folded his arms, glancing around at the sight he saw, plain, nothing that catches the eye, yet they seem to think innocence was here or they would of never sent for him. Taking a couple of steps he continued to look around for any signs of Akuma, innocence or just the finder he was meant to meet.
He soon stopped and smiled, finder spotted and it did take a long time to find him in a large town such as this. He went to him before his eye activated as he turned his head in the direction it was coming from. So there were Akuma here, just waiting for their right moment to try to jump him, but Allen was ready, he was always ready for Akuma as he activated his arm or the Crowned Clown as he went toward them, hoping to do as he always did and save them.
