(no subject)
Weeeeeeee! Happy National Turkey Day!!!! Well to those of us who observe it at least. This year I get to cook a turkey and a chicken, at the same time! and no... not one of those crazy things where you cook a chicken inside the turkey either. I'm also making mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, butternut squash, cranberry sauce, maybe a pumpkin pie, and whatever else I can find in the kitchen to make. Should be good time had by all.
In other news of my life. I still have my job. Which is a big deal since last week they laid off all the temps and then took 50 more people for voluntary lay off. I got a call yesterday (since it was a no production day, we all had off that is how bad it is getting) and they told me I probably will be going to dimensions department. ugh, that place is right next door to hell, i swear. If it is the job i had last time i was there, its pretty boring, but can be a good work out. haha. basically all you do is sort different lengths and sizes of wood. usually 8 3/4" to 58 1/2" boards and stack them on a pallet according to whatever. But they said i should know definitely for sure on Monday (another no production day, so no work!)
I'm still also fighting off a sinus infection, its in the last stages of it, thank god. I've had it for almost 2 weeks now, its stayed long enough and can go.
