Janitor/Office log [action]

Apr 21, 2009 03:50

So Raiden's a pretty busy guy, eh. Does what a janitor does and doesn't afraid to has... many offices? You may find him often times poking in and out of the various storage rooms and supply closets on campus, in bathrooms, and empty classrooms cleaning, fixing light bulbs and doing minor repairs. Sometimes he likes simply walking around campus ( Read more... )

Date and Relative time: 4/22 Late afternoon.
Where: Office!
Open or Closed?: Open.

Falcon was getting desperate.

It had been three weeks since the disappearance of his disk and its

secret compartment

and he still had no leads, no suspects, and no idea where any of his stuff had got to. So who better to question than the janitor? Raiden had keys to every room in the school, lurked around the halls mopping and stuff, and probably had seen a lot of trash. That's what janitors did, right? So maybe the blonde had seen something or heard something or maybe he was responsible for it. Falcon was going to find out.

He knocked firmly on Raiden's office door. "Hey, you got a minute?"

Raiden was very fairly privy to the rumors and news that floated down the school's hallways. Not always, but more often than not.

Raiden grumbled as he heard the knock, fully expecting Fang again but heard another familiar voice instead. The door opened fairly quickly, "Hey. Falcon, what's up?" The reason for the surprise visit wasn't registering with the blonde at the moment.

He didn't enter the room just yet, instead content to lead in the doorway blocking the only way out.

"Oh uh...not much." Falcon began nonchalantly to lure Raiden into a false sense of security. "Actually, uh...I was hoping you could help me out with something."

Poor Raiden. It still wasn't quite registering although for some reason he was starting to feel uneasy. Probably because Falcon was a very tall guy who was blocking the only way out doorway. Nonchalantly.

"Sure?"

Fortunately for Raiden, he would not be in the dark much longer. Not that Falcon knew Raiden wouldn't be in the dark, but...

"I'm uh. Missing a few things. I know I should probably be seeing Kyle about this but uh...I mean, I'd figure you'd catch wind of things floating around in the halls, yeah?"

"Floating around in the halls? You mean like missing stuff?" Oh now things were clicking. The blonde hesitated to venture but did anyway, "...Like from the April Fools day pranks?"

The back of his mind immediately flashed some certain x-rated reading material that certainly was not his own and procured at the scene of the crime, so to speak. Raiden was quick to try and follow up, "That really sucks. What's missing?"

"I'm pretty sure it's from the April Fool's Day pranks." He continued, folding his arms. "Whoever pulled them did a good job of cleaning up after themselves, I've got no leads."

Falcon wasn't about to divulge personal details, but he needed to give some information. "My desk was broken into and I had a disk stolen, among other things."

"No leads, huh?" Raiden echoed, stalling slightly. Either Falcon outright suspected him or he really was without any leads and turned to Raiden for help. Like a tidal wave starting in the middle of the ocean, the blonde felt a bellowing wave of guilt beginning to build up. Mentally, he argued that they were really damn nice magazines and POS is standard FOXHOUND procedure and it wasn't like Falcon was using them at the time. In fact, who the hell would even keep the magazines in his school desk of all places?! That was just irresponsible and surprisingly easy to wrap in celophane...

And Raiden wanted to make sure Lash did not damage her respectable young lady eyes on such filth.

Such... awesome and high quality filth that he TOOK RIGHT OUT FROM FALCON'S DESK AS HIS OWN PRIVATE PROPER--Nonono. Calm down.

BUT. Falcon deserved it for being a jerk during the war and not helping with... missing articles of clothes. Why should Raiden help with missing articles of... articles ( ... )

He shook his head. "None. But they broke into my office and busted the lock on my desk."

Now that Falcon thought about it, and Raiden had gone and said it, the janitor did have keys to all the classrooms. But he didn't want to point fingers just yet, not when there were possible leads hanging in the balance.

"Just some magazines." He said flatly. "I mean, I'm pissed they took those, but the disk is the important thing."

Yep. His magazines and... a disk? Wait, that must of been that thing Lash was looking at. Raiden wasn't even sure if he was paying attention but now that he thought about it, it sure as hell wasn't where he found it--in the magazines. Did Lash swipe it when he wasn't looking?

Knowing Lash, probably very yes and since Falcon was still looking for it well.. it must be really important.

Obviously a home-made porno. That sick freak.

.....Raiden was so going to be dead. "R-Really? I mean, what's on it?"

He cocked an eyebrow. Although Falcon had come to Raiden for help or leads, what was actually on the disk was really none of the Janitor's business. And though it seemed okay to divulge the information to Lash, somehow he didn't want to share his humiliation with Raiden.

Falcon would keep it simple. "A computer program."

Well that was kind of... vague. Definitely a cover-up. "Hmm." Raiden stalled some more. The magazines were back in his dorm safe and sound under his sleeping bag. The disk was probably with Lash or lost somewhere on campus. Forever.

"...So what about the magazines?" Raiden was sure he wouldn't slip up and he could probably get away scott free as long as he kept calm and responded simply.

"The magazine's aren't...important." Okay, they were really nice magazines but Falcon could live without his porn. He was just pissed that someone would take them.

"I'm just a little ticked that they got stolen."

"No, no, I mean what do they look like? If I come across them maybe the disk might be with them?"

Raiden felt like he was slowly being backed in a corner. Even a 'just a little ticked' Falcon was one he didn't want to see.

"Since you said both got taken at the same time unless they were in two separate spots in your desk or something..."

He frowned and folded his arms, hoping he looked very intimidating. Falcon wasn't sure how he felt about disclosing exactly what kind of magazines they were, but if he wanted any leads at all, being vague wasn't going to cut it.

"They were skin mags." He grumbled. "But like I said, all I care about is the disk inside."

Yes. Yes Falcon was very intimidating but Raiden saw this as a good opportunity to dance around the subject because that was frankly much much easier to deal with and he really really did not want to be on the receiving end of Falcon rage.

"Soooooo. Skin mags."

...Ok either he was being stupid and did want to be on the receiving end of Falcon rage or Raiden was starting to get a little cocky. "What issue is it who's on the cover and how many more do you have?"
