John thought he was dreaming. He heard that beloved voice but it couldn't be. She'd fallen off a cliff and been smashed into the water below. No hope. No hope.
"No, I'm here from heaven to tell you that alcohol isn't the answer.I want you to move on, have a good life, be there for Talyn," Aeryn told him. "I'm here to get you to see that. I wouldn't want you to be this way."
"But I want you back," he said, clutching his bottle. "Alcohol let's me see you in my dreams. Come back to life. Please? Get better from the very long fall you took from the cliff. Band aid?"
"No, I'm afraid I'm dead. But I need you to do what will make me happy anyway," she said, and reached her hand out for the bottle. "You don't need it. You are stronger than this, and I love you. Even from beyond the grave. Our love is that strong."
"But but but." He clutched the bottle. "I'm alone. Why am I alone? I'm always alone. I don't want you the angel! I want you the real person. Please? I'll...give up drinking if you come back!"
"You're not alone," she said, hand still outstretched. He should give her the bottle already, her contract only went for one episode. "You have a son, who needs you. Be there for him, John. It's what I would want."

He gave it a soft kiss before he handed it to Aeryn. "There."
