John deliberately gets up earlier than Aeryn today. And today, there's no tricks or waiting to see her reactions. Today, he gets up, makes sure she keeps sleeping and makes his way into the kitchen. That's when he starts cooking the breakfast he promised her yesterday. He'd love for her to stay asleep through the breakfast making process but he knows that might too much to ask. She's a light sleeper and, if she's like him, will notice he's gone shortly.
