Well, that was maybe twenty minutes of sleep. Aeryn's been dozing lightly enough to hear someone moving around. And when she sees it's John who appears to be leaving, she just sets her jaw and rolls onto her other side. Which hurts, but she's not happy at this second.

"Morning," John says, because yeah, he's oblivious. "Sleep okay?"

Aeryn doesn't answer him. She just gets out of bed, accidentally careful not to step on anyone, and goes to get her clothes.

He frowns at her. "I was gonna go get breakfast for everyone. You can stay in bed and rest for a while longer. I won't be long."

"You were really going to let me wake up and find you gone?" she hisses.

"Um." He's done it before and she's done it before. "I was just going to get breakfast. You wake up and leave before me all the time."

Aeryn's pissed. Seriously. And she's not about to get into a fight in front of anyone who might wake up, so she stalks off into the bathroom with her clothes.

John has no idea what just happened or what he did. Okay. Fine.

He doesn't wanna leave like this so he waits beside the bathroom door until she comes out.

After getting dressed, when John still hadn't followed her, she opens the door and waves him in. Because there's really no place else to fight.

The bathroom again. Uh oh.

He comes inside, closes the door, and leans against it.

Uh oh's right. Aeryn might actually be shaking a little. "There are threats against you and you were going to let me wake up and find you gone."

John's a little scared of this. She's either angrier than he's ever made her or something else...

"It was just into town," John protests. "I wanted to surprise everyone."

"You really don't get it, do you?" she asks, completely amazed by this.

"Get what?" Okay, so he's dense. "I was gonna be careful."

"Vampire. Threats. Against you. And you were just going to let me wonder and panic about what happened to you?"

Okay, that's a little clearer. "Um. Sorry, I didn't know. I was just going into town and it's daylight. I thought they couldn't come out in the daylight."
