The Oshare Hair Catalogue Summer 2008 issue is out! Like seriously, how do you explain someone whose hair looks like this:
Becomes so damn adorable like this!
And this Potato shot is definitely drool-worthy. *hearts*
I don't like how some Ryo fans can't seem to disassociate Sousuke from Ryo. It's expected that non-Ryo fans despise him for Sousuke because that means he's been doing a good job playing the violent one. But it's really bad when some Ryo-fans think that Michiru deserves her torture, like she's asking for it, just because deep down in their hearts they can only see Ryo and not Sousuke.
That's not right. Michiru doesn't deserve all the things that Sousuke did to her. Whatever cruel, twisted past he once had does not make it right for him to torture Michiru that way. Not even one ounce of remorse, guilt or conscience coming out of that man, and all that's present was that he's just being hypocrite. How did people sympathize with him and not the victim? That's so not right! Just because he's Ryo playing Sousuke, that DOES NOT mean that he's the "oh poor soul who's haunted by a dark past blablabla"! In reality, there are probably a lot of people who go through (probably) even worse situations than Sousuke in the past, but they make choices to do something positive about it. People like Sousuke are just weak. You just don't sympathize with people like this when they start going around abusing people. It's when they make the wrong choice of being weak like Sousuke, then maybe, I said maybe, we can be allowed to have a little pity on him...
Let's give us all something else to think about. Let's say we replace Sousuke and Michiru with someone else's...
Case 1: Sousuke is FATHER, Michiru is his 15-YEAR-OLD DAUGHTER.
Let's say that FATHER DV-ed/raped his DAUGHTER, and FATHER has exactly the same cruel past like that of Sousuke's. Does that give FATHER any rights to abuse DAUGHTER?
Case 2: Sousuke is MOTHER, Michiru is her 5-YEAR OLD SON
Again, does the MOTHER have any rights to physically torture SON? Is it the SON's fault for making his MOTHER take it out all on him like that?
Abuse is abuse, victim is victim. In the end, everything is all about choices, ne? But being the victim once in your life does not make it your right to inflict violence on other people, whether they're asking for it or not. Some people might just think that this is only a drama, it's just for entertainment. Unfortunately, that's not the real life, little children. Just because you don't happen to be a victim doesn't mean that people around you are like you.
Enough with the serious matter...
On a random note, I saw a blue Subaru (car) parked in front of my office building this afternoon. It's a big deal because I haven't seen one in this country for quite some time LOL!
