The Nikkan Drama Awards prove to be as stupid as ever. Buzzer Beat won over both Ninkyo Helper AND Kyumei Byoto 24 Ji Season 4?? And Yamapi's lame acting won over Tsuyopon AND Eguchi AND Tsumabuki Satoshi?? (You may not roll your eyes over this because I've started watching the drama and am not impressed).
Something is seriously wrong with that country, or at least the fans! *sigh* Oh well, I'll just be waiting for The Television Academy Awards, which is a little bit more reliable although sometimes the popular votes outnumber the jury votes. Nikkan is a popular award, and I can understand this. But that won't stop me whining every single time the awards are out. This also proves that Yamapi's fans are keen, avid, and obsessed voters, because seriously, Kyumei Byoto was THE top drama from last season and most of its fans might not even vote. Which just shows that true drama fans don't really care. I shouldn't too, really. But this just made me mad sometimes. When Japan has a proper drama award (one very distant day into the future, at least I hope), 90% of Johnnys boys (or their dramas) won't even make it to the list.
This is the other part of me which you probably don't know, which is the non-Johnnys fan part, the dorama-fan part.
OK I'll stop now because I know that some of you really like Buzzer Beat and all, but let's wait until you have watched Ninkyo Helper and Kyumei Byoto and Tenchijin and Soratobu Taiya (one seriously very awesome and engaging drama!), then maybe we can have a healthy discussion. And while watching, just compare how Yamapi acts to how all the other great actors act, because seriously, I can't stand him.
