Kanjani8's new single is called
"急☆上☆Show!!" aka "Kyuu☆Jou☆Show!!". It means 'sudden rise' or 'steep climb' (according to
skycouldfall ) with pun intended for 'shou' and replacing it with 'show'. :) The title track is written by TAKESHI, who also wrote the melody for Jounetsu Party, fuka-fuka Love the Earth, 8 o'clock, Kuchibue no Mukou, Aoi Sora (Subaru's solo), and lyrics for well-loved songs like Cool magic city, Heavenly Psycho, and All of me for you.
There are 2 Limited Editions and 1 Regular Edition. Both Limited Editions come with the same set of songs but different contents on DVD, while Regular Edition has 4+1 songs this time instead of 2+1 songs back with Musekinin Hero! Which is probably why I'm seeing Regular Edition at the top of CDJapan's online chart, which never usually happens to Eito before except for when 47 was announced LOL!
Limited Edition A has a bonus DVD with music clip for "急☆上☆Show!!" while Limited Edition B comes with a bonus DVD with music clip for "Hitotsu no Uta"! Which makes sense of my point next. Why won't they announce this single as a double-A? They're obviously treating it like one.
And I somehow can't help but feel that there's probably more on the DVDs than what they're telling us. Maybe Recomen tonight can shed some light.
Speaking of Recomen, I guess Yoko won't be there tonight. I bet Maru will be there to accompany Hina like he always does!
