So I was contemplative in church yesterday...
I created these poems yesterday while at church.

The Ultimate Thank You
How can I say “Thank you,”
For all the things you do?
What thanks can I give
To my own creator?
A good start to this, I know:
An end to my own sin,
And the continuation, clear:
The spread of your joy.
But what can I really do
To thank someone like you
Besides laying down my life
For your great cause!

If I had one wish,
What would it be?
Money?
Power?
Acceptance?
Knowledge?
What about love?
None can truly love without the father.
So would the wish then be to know the father?
What a great thing--to know him!
One needs no more than that.
And cannot live without him.
