Happy Birthday to me!!
A day late, but I guess this is turning out to be a yearly thing or something. LOL! *dusts the place off a bit*
Yup...another birthday has come and gone. Yesturday was actually a really good day. :) zilvar took half a day off from work and took me to the mall. We had lunch and then I went clothes shopping while he took my daughter to the card shop to buy me a birthday card and, it turns out, a cute little kitten statue, that is currently sitting on my desk. :) Instead of my 'traditional' strawberry cake, he got me a strawberry ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins. Yuuuum! :)
Later that evening, we decided to do some World of Warcraft raiding with our new guild, and went to Scholomance. I'd never been in there before so it was pretty interesting. BUT, I guess Blizzard decided to give me a birthday present, because when we hit the last boss, he dropped the Shadowcraft Cap (part of the rogue armor set), which I got because I was the only rogue in the raid who needed it. *bounces happily* According to the other members of the guild, this is a very rare drop. One of the other rogues said he did at least 20 raids into Scholomance before he finally got his....I got mine on the first run. :D But to top it off, someone in Ironforge was selling a Lifelike Mechanical Toad and I was able to buy it off him. I'm an avid non-combat pet collector and that was one that I'd been wanting for a long time now. :) :) :)
