Greetings from Las Vegas folks!! We're on our honeymoon, but after a long train ride out here (34 hours, but we saw some amazing scenery), we spent today as a lazy day, which included a great episode of LOST. We made sure to book a room with an HD TV too, which is a HUGE plus, but on the downside, no DVR! Meh! But I guess if I miss anything, I'll

Sorry to hear about your flu!
1. I think Richard is alive; I dunno why, but I don't think that was his grand finale. It felt too anti-climatic. I think he'll be around on sunday.
2. See, I dunno if it's driveshaft as I don't know how it would work in both them and david shepherd into a concert? we'll have to say. I also think that Juliet will show up as Jack's ex and we know that she has knowledge of the OT as she told Sawyer it worked, so that could play a role too.
3. Definitely agree; I liked the Ben scene when he teared up. It was played very well against the scene when he shot Widmore in cold blood.
4. See, the water thing STILL hasn't been addressed. If he can't go over water: how did Christian show up and appear to Michael on the freighter? Or in the lobby of Jack's work? Or at the store when Hurley saw Charlie? Is there another smoke? A white smoke that's jacob? or a good smoke?? I don't think water can kill him though as that almost seems too simple. I do think the light itself will play a large role in what happens to him, if anything.
And i've won jack shite so far; well, I won .25 after I lost 10 bucks, I then won 10.25 and cashed out. Tonight, mel started playing $1 blackjack and cashed out after she won $29. I'm jealous. haha
take it easy!

Glad to hear about the Cirque De Soleil. I bought the CD when it first came out and I am glad the visuals measured up to the tunes! When Vegas was trying be a "family destination" the Bellagio had one of the most extensive Art collections in the World. But Vegas will never be a family town unless your last name is Manson! Still Love it though!
By the way; don't know if you are a Fringe fan but incredible cliffhanger episode!
Now the reason I am writing back. Do you believe that the concert that Eloise was setting up for when Desmond first came to the A/U has taken place? I do not; we really do not know how much time has passed since then. But I don't think that concert that Penny's name was on the list has taken place. I think David will be a part of it but I believe this is Eloise's gala. Your Thoughts?
Last Scene: It is in Black and White and Kate in pigtails and a gingham dress wakes up. Uncle Bernard and Aunt Rose are overjoyed to see she is okay. Standing in the room are the three farm-hands, James, Hugo and Jack. She tells them she has benn on trip far away and that the 3 farm-hands were there as well!!! LOL
ENJOY BRUTHA!

I'm not sure if I've shared this with you before or not, but regarding Christian's off-island appearances, this is my theory. First, the easy one. I think Jack was just hallucinating when he saw his father in the lobby. I don't know about the store with Hurley and Charlie (forgot about that one).
The writers have stated previously that some characters are "undead", and they specifically mentioned Christian, Yemi and that stupid horse that Kate saw. Both Christian's and Yemi's bodies disappeared (though we did see Yemi's body at one point). So I think that these two became a physical manifestation of the island itself, therefore creating a second Christian. Sure, MIB admitted to Jack that he was posing as his father when he first saw him, but he never said he has always been doing that. So I think that when Christian appeared to Michael on the freighter, that was the island telling him that it is done with him. "You can go now" was the quote.
I think the end is going to be that MIB/Locke wins and uses Desmond to destroy the island, thus sinking the island (as shown in LA X), and creating the AU. Everyone keeps saying that if MIB leaves the island, everything disappears. I believe this means everything in the OT disappears, but since the space/time continuum has a way of correcting itself, the AU is created in its place. This kind of raises the question, which timeline is the correct one? Was the island timeline the alternate this entire time?
