Jasmine Murray sang Love Song. If you can't sing it as good or better than the original, don't sing it. She's cute though...like a young Gabrielle Union.
Matt Gerard sang Viva La Vida. He doesn't have much range and he got burned by a bad arrangement.
Jeanine Vailes sang This Love. She was pitchy early, the middle was unintelligible, but the last note was okay.
Nick Mitchell sang...wait I mean...Norman Gentle sang You're Gonna Love Me. This guy is brilliant. He's an average singer but he's very different than the rest and he's very entertaining. If he doesn't advance then I don't know this show.
Allison Iraheta sang Alone. If Kate Pierson had a 16 year old daughter I'd imagine she'd look like her. Best vocals so far tonight.
Kris Allen sang Man in the Mirror. What is the fascination with old, bad MJ songs?
Megan Joy Corkrey sang Put Your Records On. She's alright but does nothing for me. No stage presence. Hold the microphone stand if you can't move your body attractively.
Matt Breitzike sang If You Only See. Yet another bad dancer. He's a very good singer, but he'll get no teenager votes.
Jesse Langseth sang Bette Davis Eyes. I hated this song when it was hit. I hate it now. Her, I like. At least she can move on stage unlike the last two. Vocally, she's average, but she's got good personality.
Kai Kalama sang What Becomes of the Broken Hearted. I'm sure his Mom and her friends loved this performance. I find it corny. Plus, dude...when your number ends in 10...do not flash your hand with 5 then turn around your hand to the back side and flash another 5. That's not 10. That's flashing 5 twice. You just gave votes to Allison Iraheta, but then she deserves them more than you, so thank you.
Mishavonna Henson sang Drops of Jupiter. Horrible start, gained confidence toward the end, but forgettable.
Adam Lambert sang Satisfaction. Already looks the part. Already lives in Hollywood. Makes you wonder why no label has signed him yet. The judges love his inflections, but I hated them. He's a rock singer who doesn't rock. But the girls will adore them.
Prediction...Top guy is Adam. Top girl is Allison. And I do believe that Nick/Norman will get in. He's this year's Sanjaya, except he's got talent.
