On Sunday night I went to the Gary Numan concert at The Fillmore in San Francisco. As always, it was really good. I was back three rows of people from the stage, with a fairly good view for most of the concert. He did a good mix of new and old stuff, and really seemed to be enjoying the heck out of himself.
This time was entertaining in a different way, because he had his daughter, Persia, sing on the song she helped record for Gary's latest album, Savage. She did really good, I thought. Particularly because she's 11.
The two opening acts were Nightmare Air, and Yes Means No, and both of those bands were very enjoyable as well.
After standing on the floor from 7:00 - 11:30 PM, I'm surprised I didn't fall over after the crowd dispersed, because my knees and feet were in so much pain.
