a smile goes a long ways
People say that smiling when you're unhappy just to hide your feelings from other people is bad. I think it really does help me because they won't bring it up again and without having mentioned it, I can lose myself in their laughter or their words more easily. I really do try to smile like I mean it.
So... last night wasn't that bad at all. School was dreadful and I was so happy when I found out my last class was just listening to music.
I did the usual rushed lunch, quick change, and run to bus to go play tennis. I lost 3-8 against Choate first singles but there were a lot of ads and I think I played really well, especially in the beginning. I lost my touch near the end XP.
We got back at 5 and I talked to dave who I havent seen online for... a good several months now. I left at 6:15 for dinner and that's where I met Liz (Speyer), a freshman at LC. She was a day student stuck at school who wasn't allowed into any of the underclassmen dorms so I decided I could hang out with her. Plus, I didnt have anyone else to talk with. She turned out to be really nice and so cute. We walked all over campus because I had errands to run and then we went to the Gym to help set up the prom lock-in.
I helped a bit and then left to take pictures of all of my friends who had dressed up. Some of them were SO pretty! I loved ali's dress (her corsage matched perfectly even though Ian had never seen the dress) and Dani looked so beautiful ^_____^. Pat's hair was just perfect. Caleb looked suave... but he can always do that XD.
So I took pictures and got dragged into bringing Melis', Ali's, Liz's, and Dani's bags to the gym for them. Sho felt sorry for me because I was holding bags and taking pictures which was so hard to do because those girls had a lot of useless stuff. She took Liz's and Dani's bags so we each had half of the load ^^ THANKS SHOOOO!
Afterwards Sho and I just walked around... didn't really do much at the big, bouncy, inflatable thingy, but that's alright. We got into bed around 10:00 and talked until 1:30 (ie we actually didn't eat the coldstones ice cream!) Dani walked in a little before 6 am and woke us up. Sho rolled over (in dani's bed) and went back to sleep so I let Dani sleep in my bed with me. aaaaaand... now im up!
