Yay!!! The DA knocked Dads speeding ticket down to 64 in a 55 and he paid a fine of $110 and we left. Whew!! *wipes sweat from brow* Now if he will just stay out of trouble, everything will be fine. Y’all father is like mid to late 80 in age, correct? I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most likely you will find money tucked away in strange places when the time comes to go through his possessions. According to my studies it is not uncommon for people that fall into that age cohort to horde things that they consider important and useful. The main reason is because of the historical effects of WW2 on these individuals’ lives. Both of my parents were born at the very tail end of WW2, and they are very much like. My father is a lot worse, but he isn’t all up stairs either. The advantage I have is that my parents are young enough that I can try and curb some of that behavior. Your father is too far beyond that. They will also hide every little thing from a gas receipt to the deed to their house ( ... )
