Summary: The obligatory "telling everyone Lee's banging the Kazekage" chapter~

Lee thinks that the hardest part of this whole affair is explaining things to his friends. All of them. His loud, loud sensei, his so-called "eternal" (Gaara's eyes narrow) rival, the girl with bun-hair, Haruno, Naruto.
Gaara doesn't see what's so difficult about it. Lee and I are lovers, he says dully. He glares at the white-eyed boy. Behind him, Lee chokes on his saliva. Beyond him, birds chirp obliviously. There are no other sounds.
Finally, Lee's teacher clears his throat.
He asks Lee if his feelings are true. Lee affirms it loudly. He turns to Gaara and inquires the same. Gaara nods without hesitation, still glaring. What a stupid question.
There is a beat of silence. The disbelief from Lee's peers is so thick they could swim through it. Lee's teacher makes a strangled noise - Gaara looks up in alarm - and tears well from his eyes; he proclaims, he shouts, he brings Lee into a crushing embrace; rivers flow down both their faces and a tidal wave breaks on the rocks behind them.
While this is going on, the bun-haired girl offers Gaara her shaky congratulations; the white-eyed boy looks stunned and says Oh, good; Haruno's jaws are slack, but she cannot seem to speak, and her wide eyes dart rapidly between him and Lee; before Gaara can address her, Naruto sidles over and asks suspiciously - in a rare instant of astuteness - Is that why you're always coming over here for those peace conferences?
